Her heart’s desire is to use her life experiences to lead and connect everyone to Jesus She has a Holy Spirit led desire to be of service to those who are in need. Jennifer strives to stand in the gap for others who have suffered, as she has to show them that like her, they too can walk through the fire and reach the other side in victory! Not with open wounds or scars, but with a renewed mind and a spirit destined follow Jesus and to be with God for eternity. God has led her through a difficult past, victory over adversity, a life threatening pregnancy, and even miraculously healed her of a near fatal, rupturing tumor and brought her through an emergency surgery that almost took her life. More recently, she has found that God will lead a person through the darkest days of one’s life as she has embarked on the journey of a widow, and as a single mother to her 8 year old daughter, Kristen (miraculously healed of Neonatal E-coli Bacterial Spinal Meningitis soon after birth - with NO SIDE EFFECTS OR SIGNS OR DEFECTS - Hallelujah, Great Physician, Jesus!).
Even with so many tragic events and changes that things have happened within the last few years, Pastor Jennifer and Kristen have endured through God's Grace. Pastor Jennifer knows that God brought her through so many diverse things to prepare her for a ministry of reaching others who are struggling through life’s adversities, addictions, pain, rejection, physical and emotional abuse, slander, depression and anxieties. She has a deep passion for reaching the lost, the un-churched and the excommunicated (those who have turned their back on God due to past hurts and abuse from past church families.) Her priority is being used by God to lead people to Jesus and see change and deliverance through and by giving it all to God.

Jennifer grew up in the faith at Mammoth Advent Christian Church in Mammoth, WV where she accepted Jesus as her savior at age fourteen, and was baptized at age 17 on December 25, 1988. There she directed the choir, taught music, and began instructing children and other believers. Later, as The Holy Spirit guided her towards a deeper spiritual walk, she joined Maranatha Fellowship in St. Albans, West Virginia. While at Maranatha, she served in several ministries including: intercessory prayer team, altar work, and music under the direction of Russ Jones, an anointed Music Minister and Mentor. She also assisted Pastor James Wright, Jr. as part of the sermon research team, which would prove to be a valuable training ground for preparing her own dynamic sermons.
In 2004, Jennifer became Spirit filled and FULL of the passion for the Great Commission of Jesus, Mathew 4:19, 'Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.".' Since then, God has used the gifts He entrusted in her of: music, singing, songwriting, exhortation, communication, worship and praise, prophecy, writing, prophetic psalmistry, instrumental ministering, and healing to develop the beginnings of a dynamic ministry. Pastor operates in all 9 Gifts of The Holy Spirit and has a 5-fold Ministry calling on her life.
Pastor Jennifer Mears recently served as a temporary Associate Pastor at Chariot House Church (non-denominational - everyone welcome) in Charleston, WV from November 2009 through May 2010.
Pastor Jennifer Mears is an doubly ordained minister and a licensed minister in the State of WV. She is also an active member and an ordained/licensed Clergy with an international ministry called Highways and Hedges Ministry located in Alexander, Arkansas.
Pastor Jennifer is a Senior Account Executive for L.M. Communications Radio Group, Inc. in Saint Albans, WV. WKLC, WMXE, WJYP, WSCW, WMON.

Pastor Mears holds a degree in Massage Therapy and holds certifications in Medical Massage Therapy, Sports Medicine, Reflexology, Pain Management, Chiropractic Massage Therapy, Neck and Back Disorder Therapy and Pain Management, and Business Ethics and Practice. Pastor Jennifer also ministers through Relaxation Massage and Prayer Therapy during conferences and retreats. Pastor Jennifer has also studied music education at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, Biblical Evangelism from Way of the Master in Santa Ana, California, and has studied and received several honorable certifications through Living Waters Ministry and The Benny Hinn School of Ministry in Irving, TX.
Pastor Jennifer has served as a guest speaker and praise/worship leader for many conferences and events in Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She has worked on studio recording projects in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to booking speaking and singing engagements, she also has plans in the making for songwriting and recording projects in Nashville, Tennessee and in Huntington, West Virginia.

Her ministry website, www.touchofthemasterministries.org , serves as an online connection to her personal ministry and also as an international online prayer ministry, called "The Prayer Garden", as well as providing information about Biblical and prayer studies.
Pastor Jennifer continues actively ministers in other churches, conferences, seminars and meetings as a guest speaker and through praise and worship music. She is also currently recording many new music projects during Fall 2009 and Winter/Spring and Summer months of 2010. Pastor Jennifer Mears, with the support and testimony of Kristen, is also a national speaker and activist for RAINN: Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network.
